We raise Registered and Commercial Boer Goats with focus on meat production and show quality. Boers are prized for their size, rapid weight gain, carcass quality, hardiness, and docility. Because of intense breeding over the past 50 years or more by South African goat breeders, the Boer goat is considered far superior to any other breed for meat production. These compact, muscular goats have a high growth rate, muscular carcass, good fertility, and functional conformation. Most of our breeding is done in the fall/winter months for early Spring kidding, however we do occasionally breed a few in the summer for fall kidding.
